Use cases

One workspace,
many kinds of work.

How different professionals structure FlowNest Workspace around the way they actually deliver.

Who it's for

Choose the shape that fits

Independent consultants

Track retainers, deliverables and meeting actions in one place. Client portals replace status emails and recurring automations generate monthly reporting without you remembering to start it.

Design and creative studios

Route creative work through defined stages with approval gates. Versioned file storage keeps the approved asset obvious, and workload views prevent overbooking your designers.

Small marketing agencies

Manage campaigns across multiple clients with shared calendars, deadline escalation and reporting that shows exactly where each account stands before the weekly call.

Software and product teams

Plan sprints, track dependencies and connect FlowNest to your other systems via API. Audit logs give you an accurate record of scope changes.

Accountancy and professional services

Manage recurring compliance deadlines with automated reminders, client document collection and a permanent record of what was submitted and when.

Trades and field businesses

Schedule jobs, assign engineers, attach site photos to the job record and give office staff a live view of the day from any browser.

Non-profit and community teams

Coordinate volunteers, grants and events with role-based access so sensitive information stays limited to the right people.

Operations teams in growing businesses

Standardise repeatable processes into templates, then measure how long each stage actually takes so you can improve it with evidence.

In practice

A worked example

A five-person studio running twelve active clients

The studio creates one project per client engagement from a shared template containing seven standard stages. Each stage has a default owner and a default duration, so a new project arrives with realistic dates already in place.

An automation moves a card into Client Review and simultaneously posts the deliverable to the client portal. If approval has not arrived after three days, a reminder is sent and the project manager is notified. Once approved, the next stage opens and the designer is assigned automatically.

Every Monday, the workload report shows capacity per person for the coming fortnight. Overcommitment is visible before it becomes a missed deadline, and the studio director can reassign work in a couple of clicks rather than by chasing people individually.
